Agent Jobs Non Valid Owners
Having SQL Server Agent jobs with NULL owners can cause issues. Any record showing a NULL value indicates that the owner of the applicable Agent Job is orphaned.
Setting individuals as job owners can lead to security issues when that individual’s account is deleted from SQL Server or disabled in Active Directory. As a result, the SQL Server Agent job will stop working.
Ensure that all SQL Server Agent jobs have a valid owner.
How To Check for SQL Server Agent Jobs With Non Valid Owners
SELECT j.name As job_name FROM msdb.dbo.sysjobs j LEFT JOIN master.sys.syslogins l ON l.sid = j.owner_sid WHERE l.name IS NULL;
