Future Product Direction

Aireforge Studio is available today and continues to provide database professionals with tools for managing, analysing and scripting across SQL Server estates.

We are also modernising Studio. SysOptics Desktop is the planned successor to Aireforge Studio: it builds upon parts of the existing technology and will carry forward selected desktop capabilities, including Script/OmniScript, as part of the wider SysOptics platform. The principal change is architectural — instead of a standalone desktop application, SysOptics Desktop will operate as part of that wider platform.

Studio remains supported for the term of your licence. New development effort is focused on SysOptics, so Studio updates are now maintenance rather than new features.

SysOptics is in active development and partner testing, and Studio customers will have an upgrade path to SysOptics Desktop when it becomes available. We have not announced a release date or licensing details yet.
